Dawgdom's Story...Jack's Story |
|
Jackson Roo was a stray who found us. Two years later after Jack’s death, I can say that we miss of him every day. Jack was more than anyone could have imagined. He never learned sit or stay, but he was so good in his own way. He rarely barked, but made a mooing noise almost like a purr. His eyes showed his appreciation for everything at all times. The more time we had with him, the more Jack seemed to love us. Jack began battling osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in April 2007. Through an amputation and four rounds of chemo he fought with strength and grace. We let go of our beloved Jackson on August 13th 2007. His tail was no longer wagging and the happiness in his face was gone. Our priority was his comfort and quality of life and I pray that we succeeded. |
